Cybersecurity brand transformation and digital system
Catalisto
Catalisto required more than a visual refresh. The project involved replacing an inconsistent legacy identity with a clearer, more credible and scalable brand system that could operate across digital platforms, technical content, campaigns, training programmes and physical applications.
Role
Brand identity, art direction, website design, UI/UX, campaign design, editorial design, image editing and brand applications.

/ The transformation
From fragmented to focused
Before 2022, Catalisto used a colourful identity with several competing visual styles. The rebrand introduced a more controlled system built around black, white and Catalisto blue, supported by Montserrat typography, stronger hierarchy and a distinctive predator-led visual direction.

/ Visual direction
A recognisable visual signature
Black-and-white predator imagery with one Catalisto-blue eye became a distinctive brand device. The system communicated vigilance, precision and controlled strength while creating a visual language that could be recognised across different formats.

/ Digital experience
Translating the identity into digital
The refreshed identity was extended into a structured website experience that made complex cybersecurity services easier to navigate. Strong contrast, modular content blocks and clear information hierarchy helped connect service communication, evidence of impact, technical resources and the Lexcy platform.
/ Technical editorial design
Designing for technical depth
A modular editorial system was created for Catalisto's advanced persistent threat publications. The layouts organised technical research, geographic data, threat classifications and supporting intelligence into a format that remained clear, consistent and accessible.

/ Training and event applications
Built to work beyond the screen
The identity was adapted across cybersecurity training programmes, partner initiatives and corporate event environments. Each banner retained the requirements of the programme or partner while still feeling connected to the wider Catalisto system.

/ Cultural and collectible applications
A more expressive side of the brand
A limited skateboard collection extended Catalisto into a more expressive format. Individual designs drew on different countries, cultures and visual narratives, showing how the identity could support both highly technical communication and more experimental brand applications.

/ Closing
One system, many applications
The result was a more confident and coherent brand that could move between corporate cybersecurity, technical research, digital experiences, international training programmes and physical applications without losing its identity.
